Fruit rootstocks for grafting purposes

We supply a very wide range of apple, pear, plum/damson and cherry rootstocks.The minimum quantity is normally 10 of any one variety (20 of any one variety for international orders)

Reminder for customers: In order to avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend that rootstock orders are firmed up as soon as possible. Rootstocks are supplied from early February

M116 Slightly less vigorous than MM106 but similar yield, greater disease resistance.

Swedish Whitebeam Slightly more vigorous than the quince A or quince BA29 roostocks. Very tolerant of poor soils

Rowan Semi dwarfing. Extremely tolerant of poor soils

Quince BA29 Smaller than Pyrodwarf, more tolerant of wet ground than Quince A

Quince A Semi dwarfing

Quince EMH Dwarfing, but larger fruit and larger yields than cultivars grown on Quince C

Graftwood

We can supply graftwood (scions) of apples and pears. The wood is generally supplied in lengths of 45-60cm, sufficient for 3-5 grafts. Price per length: 6.00. Ten lengths 40.00

Grafting tape

25mm Polythene grafting tape (white)

The default grafting tape. €15.00 per roll (sufficient for approx 500-700 grafts). 5 rolls €50.00

25mm x 27.4m Parafilm biodegradable grafting tape (90 ft)

High quality biodegradable wax grafting tape, suitable replacement for grafting wax. Will stick to itself so no need for tying. The tape naturally falls off and biodegrades so no time-consuming messing with knives after the grafts have taken. Breathable but water-resistant. €10.00 per roll. Box of 6 rolls €50.00. The box price represents very good value for anyone doing grafts on a semi-professional scale.
